To create a fresh rab?ba, a tumbura devotee requires two wooden bowls (of suitable form and materials), applies incense to them, and sacrifices pigeons. The bowls would be buried for 40 days, and friends would appear and snooze on the bottom in close proximity to where by they were being buried.
